Walkathon - Oct 17
Held every October on the school field, the Covington Walkathon is one of our PTA’s most vital—and fun!—fundraisers. With nearly 100% student participation, it’s a beloved tradition where families come early, play games, and spend the whole event cheering each other on.
Book Fair - Nov 30-Dec 4
The Book Fair is a week-long fundraising event held shortly after the Thanksgiving break. A local bookseller sets up a temporary shop on campus, offering thousands of new books for sale. All profits from the fair are used to purchase new inventory for the Covington library.
Family Game Night - Mar 12
Family Game Night is a cornerstone event for our school. Beyond raising essential funds for the PTA, it provides an evening of games, eating and dancing for the community.

Covington’s Got Talent Show is an uplifting spring event designed to build community while celebrating the diverse abilities of our student body. Each year, students take the stage to provide an evening of wonderful entertainment.

Staff Appreciation Week
Apr 26-30
During a special week in April, our community comes together to shower our staff with appreciation. Each day, students bring small tokens of gratitude—like a handwritten card, a hand-drawn picture, fresh flowers, or a sweet treat—to show our incredible staff just how much they care!
Junior Olympics - Apr 17
Held every April, the Junior Olympics is an exciting district-wide track and field event for 4-6 graders. Students get to choose up to events to participate in! More than just a day of friendly competition, it’s designed to boost school spirit and inspire a lifelong love of physical activity.
Field Day - May 30
Field Day is the ultimate end-of-the-year celebration! Students and teachers spend a lively morning teaming up for a variety of exciting games and activities. From water balloons and relays to face painting and ring tosses, it’s unforgettable fun.
